In 2023, TheaterMania redesigned its Industry Service Portal to enhance partner experience and operational efficiency, automating processes that reduced manual workload and increased engagement.
The Ask
The existing Industry Service Portal was outdated, underused, and set to be sunsetted. TheaterMania saw an opportunity to build a fresh, integrated solution within the new B2C platform, addressing all limitations of the old portal. The new portal required updated functionality, UI, and branding that aligned seamlessly with TheaterMania’s B2C site to improve usability and partner satisfaction
The Approach
I led the UI/UX redesign, working with product management and development to automate manual processes, address user pain points, and create an intuitive, integrated portal. Through extensive research, user flow mapping, and iterative design, we crafted a user-friendly interface that minimized operational strain and improved partner engagement. The revamped portal generated a 58.5% increase in engagement and a sevenfold increase in weekly submissions—a testament to its improved functionality and value within the TheaterMania ecosystem.
